Aliyah Hauer-Pickett, MSW Supervisee in Social Work

Aliyah earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Simmons University in 2020. With over nine years of experience in the field of social work, she has developed a robust skill set in addressing a wide range of mental and behavioral health challenges. Aliyah is passionate about assisting clients in navigating their daily struggles and has a special interest in supporting diverse populations in their journey toward lifelong coping strategies and holistic well-being.

Aliyah is committed to creating a therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, seen, and validated. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic models, including Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness, to help clients achieve their goals. Aliyah believes that transparency, respect, and mutual trust are essential to the success of the therapeutic process.

Outside of her professional work, Aliyah enjoys engaging in home décor DIY projects, cooking, and listening to spoken word poetry. A coffee enthusiast, she appreciates both hot and iced coffee. A vegetarian for 11 years, Aliyah’s favorite color is gray.
