Toni Y. Rudisill is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-S), Licensed Substance Abuse Practitioner and Virginia-approved clinical supervisor who earned her Ed.S. in Mental Health Counseling from Hampton University. Toni completed her internships and residency serving, mentoring, counseling, and developing adolescents. She is currently employed at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital where she works with veterans struggling with serious mental illnesses.
As a native Philadelphian, Toni settled here after 20 years of Active Duty Service as a Medical Service Corps Officer in the U.S. Navy. Throughout her adult life, Toni has had numerous volunteer hours with organizations such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters, CASA, coaching Recreational Softball, and Church Youth Groups.
Toni has a heart for serving people and what better way to serve than by assisting them in becoming a better, more productive version of themselves. Toni is an encouraging, empathetic individual and family counselor and engaging and enthusiastic group facilitator.
Toni has 15 Years of human services experience and continues bringing an effective blend of Evidence-Based practices (EBT), Christian Principles, and experience to the counseling relationship. Toni has great success with populations experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, behavioral issues (ODD, Conduct disorder), PTSD, mood, crisis intervention, life stressors/adjustments, loss and grief, anger, impulsivity, and communication/social skills deficits.
