Dr. Kenyuatia L. Gash has been working in the field of social work for the past 19 years. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Florida, she is also the owner and senior clinical director of KL Gash & Associates, LLC. In lieu of Dr Gash providing mental health therapeutic t treatment to the communities, she serves she also provides LCSW clinical supervision, mental health & behavioral consultations, and professional & life development coaching services.
In conjunction, Dr .Gash has a passion for serving individuals, especially Black Women who struggle with rejection, low self-esteem, abandonment issues, and self-acceptance stemming from the effects of father absenteeism and emotionally abusive mothers,
During her tenure in social work, Dr Gash has honed her acumen in the provision of evidence-based psychotherapies for PTSD and behavior disorders, specifically Cognitive Processing Therapy, Dialectal Behavior Therapy, and Mindfulness-based interventions. She has completed a national certification to become a Master Addiction Counselor, a Compassion Fatigue Professional, and a clinical supervisor. In addition, she is a Board-Certified Diplomat in Clinical Social Work, a Regional Cognitive Processing Therapy Trainer & Consultant, as well as a Regional Cognitive Behavioral Therapy/Substance Use Disorder Trainer & Consultant.
